Meaning of Schadenfreude

Schadenfreude  also known as epicaricacy  is pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others. This word is taken from German and literally means "harm-joy". It is the feeling of joy or pleasure when one sees another fail or suffer misfortune. It is also borrowed by some other languages. An English term of similar meaning (but with no noun equivalent) is "to gloat"; which means to feel, or express, great, often malicious, pleasure, or self-satisfaction, at one's own success, or at another's failure.

When you share your happiness it gets multiplied, when you share your sorrow it gets reduced. But  have you seen someone whose sorrow when discussed  can make him happy. Look at yourself in the mirror.

PM, Opposition, Media and now students all want  to share our sorrows and pain. And when they use this to get joy or pleasure in way of money, power etc.,  we listen to them and enjoy their speech and debate. They just talk for an hour  or so, but we talk for days together about this.

Take for example Arnab Goswami- We love to enjoy his command over the language, the way he controls the people, the way he shout at people, the way he talks for more than 90% of the time and the way he discuss our problems and use that to make the slot prime and make money out of this.

Modi is definitely a good orator and I expected that he will give a befitting reply to Rahul's speech. He did that too. But how many noticed that we the people were the laughing stock of their fight.  No toilets, digging pits and what not. Our misery was their joke. Half of the house laughed when he touched these points.

Rahul gave a fiery speech, Came prepared with points and fired the salvo. He too made mockery  of our plight. The other half laughed at us this time.

So the last two days made 500+ legislators, Goswami, Barkha's make fun of our condition and enjoyed the benefits.

People over and above 10 lakh of income will not get subsidy for LPG. Those earning 5 Lakh and above will not get PDS items. But these 800+  MP's (Both houses) enjoys  full veg meal at Rs.29/-. and chicken Bririyani at 34.00. Can anyone ever came forward and asked the question when  we will remove the subsidy we enjoy?

Yes, its we who suffer and but still pay cable charges to enjoy the fun they make on us. Intolerant who?  This word should be removed from dictionaries in India.

Saprobe

Saprobe -An organism, especially a fungus or bacterium, that derives its nourishment from dead or decaying organic matter.

The incidents that happened in Hyderabad & JNU clearly explains the meaning of Saprobe to those who do not understand science well.  Soon to be forgotten Rohit is the mater on whom many are feeding now. There was a stiff competition to grab the opportunity to gain more visibility. Rahul ran couple of times, Arvind Kejariwal ,Didi's Derek O'Brien  and Behanji's team tried grab it. But Kanniah managed to nourish it and won the best Sabrobe of the year.

Poor Communists, when they were looking for something  to show to the world that they are still existing, Kanniah came handy. With Yachuri only left out as the last known face to Communist India, they were badly in need of some one. Kanniah as he rightly said in his speech used the Blue & Red effectively to manage to reach the center stage. Can anyone remember when you last saw any communist leaders on the TV screen?   Also, with polls in West Bengal where lot of people from Bihar  are settled and eligible to vote, Kanniah will be a useful tool for communists.  Derek, Sorry. though your party was the first one to rush to feed on Rohit, unfortunately it is going to turn against your own party.

What to do?    Be  happy to see that new leaders coming up?  OR Be sad to see that the students  using the caste card and start their life by nourishing the dead?

Definitely Rohit achieved nothing. Including his caste everything is doubtful about his death. But Kanniah used this opportunity to his fullest and nourished on Rohith's death. Dear Kanniah your time has come to earn. You can be roped in for campaigns and be paid. Booze and Money is not an issue anymore. Just go and ask for Azadi, Shout with high pitch. Communists have no choice now. They need some young face and you fit in there.  About your stay in JNU, don't worry at all.  We tax payers pay for your so called studies you undergo till the time you are there in  JNU and you please enjoy your time being our guest.

But remember one thing, all those students who cheered you many be your vote bank for a year or more but definitely not the voters of your constituency were you may be fielded one day. Tomorrow in search of a  job, running behind a bank to sanction home loan and vehicle loan, searching  school for their kids for admission, all these guys who cheered you today will forget you soon. However you can sill continue to be a campaigner, possible MLA/MP and frequently visit other colleges to address the future Rohith's and Kannianhs. Your life is set now.

Now that you have mastered the skill of being a successful saprobe, just look our for more Rohiths to keep you going. But be careful to not to become the organic matter yourself.

We Transformed India Series: Being Indian

We discussed the need of being Indian in the previous post. Today is Vijay Diwas ,the day we successfully retained our LOC back. We were proud of that moment as Indians. Even today we celebrate as Indians. Hence being Indian is within us and we can easily get adopted to it. Today we use it for anything related to Pakistan either War, Cricket etc., But the day we adopt it generally nd be proud of being Indian we move towards step 2 of Casteless and Colourless India.

Another Villain who promotes racism in India is our movies. The comic characters are the poison that spreads racism. They use wither the caste based roles or region based roles and seed poison in the mind of young generation. They so design the characters so that some controversy should happen which in turn can be used as a promotional material for the movie.

The characters who Pronounce any language differently is made mockery. For a moment we forget that the day we go out to a different country where the language is wither alien to us or we have little knowledge we are going to be on the other side of the table and a subject to mockery. Take for example the person who did the role of Chathur Ramalingam in 3-idiots. He pronounced Hindi differently and we make mockery on others using his style. But he used that at of innocence on a language to get more similar rolls and make money out of it. Now tell me who is Idiot, we OR the person who used our weakness and converted that into money making machine?
The only way to stop is show our apathy in accepting it and tell our concern explicitly.

WE Transformed India-2050 (WETRI) Series: Identifying ourselves

Now that we have moved a step forward by understanding that caste system is a simply imaginary line drawn , let us see how can we push the line backward
To go into the core o the problem first of all we need to understand who we are. In short we know we all are Humans. But what we need to recognize in addition to that is we are all Indians. Only when we go out of India and only when we meet people of any other country. The moment we meet another person of Indian origin we forgot the country and retard to the region we belong. The proud of being an Indian goes off and the language, colour and the region takes pride.

I am sure it is not prevalent only in India but in many countries. But here is explicit. The need of the day is to cross this barrier and be proud of being an Indian. Indian in India will be the dream come true and if it happens, the target 2050 can be easily achieved much before.

So, from today when asked a question where do you belong from, our answer should be “ I’m from Northern part of India OR say from Southern part of India but Not as North India or South India. WE Transform India. Let us Unite India.

WE Transformed India (WETRI) Series – Identify the gaps to create a caste less India

Some of us have taken oath to work on transforming India for the better future of our grandchildren. You may wonder why I a always talking about grand children. Because change takes time to get implemented. Especially change in society takes generations…---
Before we move on we need to understand the basics one again. We always talk about God and Demon? Has anyone seen it? I will say yes, I have seen, I see them everyday in my life. Ys friends, I am talking about the human being whom I refer as God and Demon. If the soft, honest, disciplined, obedient, ever smiling feature of us is explicitly visible then we see god in there and if the arrogant, dishonest, ruthless features of us is explicitly visible then we see a Demon there. In short we play the dual role in our life every day. ---
Another basic is “caste”. What is it? It was just a self disciplined system created once upon a time to draw a line on the job role of a person like we practice in our office. The team which understands the need, plan the actions and educate others to implement the action is called “ Managers”, The team which executes the action is called “Engineers”, The team which provides any other support is called “Helpers”. This is exactly how the caste system was also decided. ---
But instead of understanding that it is role we play during our short stay in this world we get involved in the character and turn into one. Instead of believing I am a Human and working as Executive now, he is a human working as Helper now, we believe that I am an executive and he is my helper. When ever an executive sees a helper, the Demon characters of the Human in the executive induce him to show his power on the Helper and keep him under his feet. This exactly what happened in our caste system, Some people who declared themselves as higher or middle or what ever you say started taking advantage of the power and facilities and made the thin invisible boundary line which was made just to define the work role we need to play and created a wall.---

Few years back there was a similar wall between East Germany and West Germany and our generation decided to break it and in a short time we forgot east and west and we only remember Germany now. ---

So, Nothing is impossible, if we decide to do so. Let us see how can we break the wall on caste in coming days.. if you have some innovative plan to break this barrier let us know…
